MEET THE FOUNDER
Harold D. Rice Jr., CSP, ASP, CIT
Disabled Veteran who Honorably served 11 years in the US Air Force
Harold D. Rice Jr. is the Owner and Lead Safety Professional of Safety Pro Development, where he specializes in OSHA aligned training, safety culture development, and instructional design.
With more than 15 years of experience across manufacturing, military, government, and higher education, Harold is known for transforming compliance requirements into engaging, behavior driven learning experiences.
His background includes leading Safety, Health, Environmental, and Risk Management programs, serving as a subject matter expert in hazard assessment and risk treatment, and developing high impact training that strengthens organizational performance. At SafetyProDevelopment, he designs curriculum, workbooks, assessments, and LMS ready content for diverse industries, helping organizations build safer, more effective workplaces.
Harold also teaches at the collegiate level and serves as an OSHA Outreach Trainer, delivering OSHA 10 and 30hour courses to workers and leaders across Connecticut. A Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), and Certified Instructional Trainer (CIT), he brings a unique blend of technical expertise, instructional design skill, and realworld leadership to every training environment.
